WHO I AM

Katy Luxem is originally from Seattle, WA, and a graduate of the University of Washington with degrees in creative writing and journalism. She holds a master's in business from the University of Utah, where she was honored as the Outstanding Graduate in her class.

Her experience includes working for the Seattle Times, Microsoft, and Amazon in both the US and the UK. She has supported clients large and small all over the globe. In 2020, she founded Big Dill Pickleball Co., the go-to brand for beginner and intermediate pickleball players. Big Dill Pickleball Co. has been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, Men's Health, Parade, Good Housekeeping, and more.

As a poet and storyteller, Katy has work in Rattle, McSweeney's, The National Poetry Review, Poetry Online, SWWIM Every Day, The Appalachian Review, and others.

As a professional writer and content editor, Katy has written copy and led marketing campaigns for small, local businesses and large, international brands. These include Amazon, Ocean Spray, Panasonic, Cole Haan, Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Honeywell, Nilfisk, ISLE Surf & SUP, and more. Specializing in Amazon listing optimizations in the US and UK, Katy has written content for more than 5,000 products and worked on hundreds of A+ Content detail pages, Brand Stores, and more. Katy is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients with products from industrial machinery to plush baby toys and everything in between.
