Katy Luxem is a writer, editor, and entrepreneur living in Salt Lake City, UT.

As a poet and storyteller, Katy's work is anthologized in Love Is For All Of Us (Hachette, 2025) and has appeared in Rattle, McSweeney’s, HAD, One Art, Rust & Moth, and others. She was the winner of the CRAFT Flash Prose Prize and a nominee for the Nina Riggs Poetry Award. Her first book, Until It Is True, was published in 2023 by Kelsay Books.

As a professional writer and content editor, Katy has written copy and led marketing for small, local businesses and large, international brands. These include Amazon, Ocean Spray, Panasonic, Cole Haan, Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Honeywell, and more. Specializing in Amazon product optimization in the US and UK, Katy has written content for more than 5,000 products and worked on hundreds of product detail pages, Brand Stores, and more. Katy is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients — with products from industrial machinery to plush baby toys, and everything in between. 

Since 2020, Katy has worked as the founder and CEO of Big Dill Pickleball Co. which has been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, Men's Health, Parade, Good Housekeeping, and more.
